Cenneth Macdonald has been involved in the Beauty Arts for over 40 years.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Cenneth began his career, apprenticing hairdresser great "Nino Gena". (Founder of Americoff Hair Organization, Nino Salons and long-standing member of Intercoffuer.
In 1972, Cenneth had the great opportunity to meet Paris hair expert, Georgette Briand, a former protégé of Rene Furterer and then went on to study with the Georgette and her husband, Andre Briand (a protégé of Paris hair designer Marcel Grateau) at the Georgette Briand Hair Clinic in New York City.
Cenneth opened his first salon "Hair Media" at age 21 in Birmingham, Michigan, a progressive suburb of Detroit, highly acclaimed as a young designer, Cenneth and his staff became known for their collaboration with Models, Photo Work & Hair Shows.
In 1975, Cenneth produced and created the first ever Performance Art Multi Media Hair Show entitled "Projection Art Through Hair". The first show of it's kind using theatrical lighting, photography, video and holography. Using a cast of multi-cultural models in collaboration with fabric/costume designer, Kathy Orzorio.
